A Custom Hydraulic Hangar Door, Built and Installed in Canby

This 40’×12’ aircraft hangar door was designed, built, delivered, and installed by PowerLift Doors of Oregon right here in Canby — just up the road from our Beavercreek shop in Clackamas County. Built on our exposed-cylinder system, the single-panel door swings up and out of the opening, giving the hangar its full 40-foot width and 12-foot height of clear access with no center post and nothing hanging into the ceiling. For an Oregon hangar in the Aurora State Airport corridor, that means easy, unobstructed movement of aircraft in and out, every time.

The Exposed-Cylinder Workhorse

Our exposed-cylinder doors are the PowerLift workhorse — simple, powerful, and built to cycle for decades in Oregon weather. The hydraulics mount in plain sight on a heavy steel frame we fabricate to the exact opening, so the door seals tight against wind and rain and opens in seconds at the push of a button. Because we handle the whole process in-house — design, fabrication, delivery, and installation — the fit is dialed in to the building, not forced to fit a stock size. If you’re building or retrofitting a hangar, shop, or ag building anywhere in the Portland metro, Willamette Valley, or across Oregon, we can do the same for you.
