This one came to us as a challenge: design and build a 110'×28' door clad in structural insulated glass. Our engineering team turned it into a showpiece — a door sheathed in roughly 23,000 pounds of glass, with a door-leaf assembly weighing about 40,000 pounds, that still opens smoothly on hydraulics.
